FEC to go Easy on Internet
The Federal Election Commission revealed yesterday that it plans to take what one of its commissioners termed a "relatively nonintrusive" approach to regulating political campaigns on the Internet.

Yeah, but I want to know whose relatives. And what is to stop a future bunch of comissioners? This thing has the capability of becoming even worse than "copyright in perpetuity". Or EPA-OSHA wrangles. Or a number of other "unintended consequence" and "thy right hand may not know whereof thy left hand doeth" (or however that goes) laws and regulations.
